About the Conference
The Guild of Natural Science Illustrators presents the Visual SciComm Conference, an annual event for artists, scientists, and educators to dive into the world of visual science communication. This week-long event includes talks, workshops, portfolio sharing, field trips, and a juried exhibition as well as endless opportunities for professional development and networking. Open to both members and non-members, the conference is the perfect opportunity to create connections with like-minded professionals who share a passion for the use of art in science.
With 160–200 attendees, every event provides enough diversity to catalyze great conversations and address different skill levels and interests while ensuring a comfortable environment for interacting and networking.
Reminder: Covid is very much part still part of the landscape.
There are currently no requirements, however, it is advisable to test before you leave to come to the conference, take masking precautions on flights, and bring test kits and masks with you. You’ll feel more at ease looking out for yourself and your fellow conference attendees
