GNSI helps connect organizations, researchers, publishers, and businesses with skilled scientific illustrators. If you are a potential client with a job, commission, or collaboration opportunity, you can share it directly with our active network of artists through the GNSI Job Board – an email that goes out to members who have indicated an interest in taking on work.
Please note:
- GNSI does not screen or monitor candidates for your job. The Job Board is a way for artists to learn about your project and get in touch with you directly.
- The Job Board will only post paid opportunities (no unpaid, “for exposure,” or speculative work).
How It Works
1. Submit Your Opportunity
Provide your job or project details using the short form below. Include your contact information, timeline, and compensation details.
2. We Share It with Members
Your listing will be emailed to GNSI members who have opted in to receive job notifications and are available for work.
3. Connect Directly
Interested members will contact you directly to discuss your project and share their portfolios.
Required information for submitting your project to the job board:
- Budget Range: Please indicate the budget range or pay scale for this opportunity
- Scientific Category: Please provide us with a category discipline it falls under (eg. Human Biology, Herpetology, Geology, Paleontology, etc)
- Deadline: Indicate the desired timeframe or required deadline for completion of this project
- Artistic Style (optional): Defining the desired art style for this project will help potential illustrators determine if they are suitable for this job.
