Call for Exhibits: Capturing the Essence-Connecting People And Nature Through Art

The members of the GNSI-Great lakes Chapter invite all GNSI members living in the Great Lakes region to join us for an exhibit this summer. 

ELIGIBILITY: Open to all current GNSI members living in the Great Lakes region. 
SUBJECTS: Plants, animals, habitats, & any natural subjects of Illinois or the Midwest
MEDIUM: Any 2D medium except photography
SUBMISSION DEADLINE: May 8 
EXHIBIT LOCATION: Lost Valley Visitor Center in Glacial Park, Route 31 & Harts Road, Ringwood McHenry County, Illinois

Only JPG emailed submissions not larger than 3 MB measuring no more than 1500 pixels in one direction. Images should be labeled with artists name, subject, size, & medium.

Acceptance Notifications Sent: May 20
Delivery of Accepted Work: June 8 All work should be framed and ready to hang. Artists name on the back
Shipping address: Lost Valley Visitor Center, Glacial Park, 7210 Keystone Road, Richmond, IL 60071 (Shipped work must have a paid return label included.)

Hand Delivery information: Delivery of accepted artwork in person to the Lost Valley visitor center front desk can take place - Attn. Kim Compton or Deb Chapman, May 30 through June 8 between 9 am and 4 pm weekends, 8:30-4:30 weekdays. 

Exhibit Dates: June 13-July 31, 2015
Opening reception: Sunday, June 14 
Return of work: August 7th shipped work / Hand pick-up August 7 -16, more details later.
