Since the 2020 GNSI Virtual Conference and Auction was such a success we are going to do it again! You can participate from anywhere to view and bid on all the items that will be donated towards the auction. There will also be a live auction portion during the actual virtual conference!

Be thinking of donating original art, prints, experiences like online workshops, or, use your great imaginations to come up with ideas for the virtual auction to help GNSI raise much-needed funds. You will see all the items offered by members and then bid on the items of your choice!

The auction will open for bidding on July 4th and run until July 18th. Check this webpage at a later date with updated instructions and links to get started.

The Virtual Auction will be via 32 Auctions site - www.32auctions.com. It will be up and running two weeks before the virtual conference. The auction website is a safe and trusted online auction administrator, used and recommended by nonprofits across the country.
You will know right away if you are in the lead. You will receive an email letting you know if you've been outbid so you can bid again! You can modify your bid before someone outbids you. If you’re outbid, you will get an email with a link to the item so you can quickly take back the lead.
If you would like to donate an item for the auction please submit a donor form before June 30th. Any questions, contact Tricia Cassady, Virtual Auction Coordinator at [email protected]  Instructions and forms for participating in the auction will be coming soon.
Half of the proceeds from the auction go towards the GNSI Education Fund and half goes to the GNSI General Fund, which is for members to enjoy the perks membership brings such as the Journal of Natural Science Illustration publication that comes out 3 - 4 times a year, access to the GNSI website membership directory, discount on attending conferences, opportunities to network with other scientific illustrators.
