I am a freelance and contract artist and illustrator currently living in Seattle. I have a B.A. in Physical Anthropology (Evolution and Archaeology) from Stanford University, and a Certificate in Natural Science Illustration from the University of Washington.
I have particular expertise in comparative and human antaomy, biology and archaeological illustration. I worked for 3 years as a site illustrator at Çatalhöyük archaeological excavation in Turkey, and have done contract academic work for such institutions as Stanford, Harvard, Brown, South London, Buffalo, UC Stanta Cruz, and University of Washington.
My work is a mix of traditional techniques (including pen and ink, graphite, scratchboard, acrylic, watercolor, gouache, and oil paint) and digital (including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and some Flash.)
I am currently available for hire.
