| GNSI Northwest was founded in 1979. The group is centered in the Puget Sound area, with members from all over Washington State and as far away as Florida and Mexico. Meetings are held 4 – 6 times yearly, usually in Seattle, and often include technique demonstrations, workshops, portfolio sharing, and at least one field trip per year. Members will bring framed art to be considered for the group Show, "Traditions in Natural Science Illustration" scheduled to be hung on June 04, 2007, The show will run through July 30, 2007. |

Members will pick up their art and future venues will be discussed |

Members are involved in a traveling group exhibit called “Traditions and Trends in Natural Science Illustration.” The exhibit features medical, maritime, zoological, botanical, archeological, and wildlife illustrations in media from silverpoint and egg tempera to computer graphics. The next venue will take place at the Edmonds Conference Center in Edmonds, Washington from June 4 – July 19, 2007. |
