Statement

The Greater New York Chapter meets regularly at the New York Botanical Garden and at other tri-state locations to discuss professional issues, tips and techniques of interest to illustrators in a sharing environment. We offer our members lectures, demonstrations, workshops and field trips, as well as opportunities for group exhibitions.

These 42 paintings depict the symbiotic relationship of members of the Class Insecta with the specific plant or plants vital to their survival. Created by the artists of the GNSI-Greater New York Chapter, these works are giclée prints made from high resolution digital scans or the original art works and printed with archival quality inks onto fine art paper.
