Join Gail Guth at the beautiful Pierce Cedar Creek Institute near Hastings, MI for a one-day workshop, Sketching Botanicals. This class will present the fundamentals of basic drawing, along with color techniques and approaches to presenting the subject in an accurate and pleasing manner. We will work in PCCIs lovely classroom from florist specimens as Michigan weather in late winter is unpredictable. The classroom features a wall of windows looking out over the rolling hillsides; if we cant venture outdoors to observe and sketch, at least we can be inspired by the view! Bring your sketchbook and pens or pencils; I will have brushes and watercolors, watercolor paper and colored pencils to try out.
Fees: PCCI Members $70, nonmembers $85 (includes lunch, and the food is always good!)
